Australian snowboarder and three-time Winter Olympian Belle Brockhoff sustained a fractured L1 vertebra following a high-speed crash during a Snowboard Cross World Cup event in Gudauri, Georgia. After being airlifted to a hospital in Tbilisi, she was later transferred to Greece for surgery. Despite the severity of the injury, Brockhoff is in good spirits and is expected to remain in Athens for rehabilitation before returning to Australia to continue her preparations for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
